The Immigration feature plays a crucial role in managing the immigration process within your organization.
There are four sub-menus under the Immigration menu.
- Green Card Document Type
- Processing Type
- Advertisement Type
- Green Card Classification

Green Card Document Type
A Green Card Document Type refers to the official paperwork and identification, including proof of eligibility, medical examination report, photographs, and supporting documents, required to apply for and obtain permanent residency in the United States.
- Click the Settings icon and go to the Immigration menu. Choose the Green Card Document Type sub-menu.
- On the Green Card Document Type page, you can add a new document type by clicking the Add button, entering the document Name, and then clicking Save.
- Now you can see the new document type is listed along with the Name, Last Modified Date, and Action. To search for a specific Green Card Document Type, use the search box.
- Click the edit icon under the Action field to update the Green Card Document Type name or click the delete icon to remove it.
Processing Type
When applying for a Green Card, there may be various processing speeds to choose from. Already two processing Types are added for you namely Regular processing and Premium processing.
Regular Processing Type is the standard option and doesn’t involve any additional fees. It can take months, or even years, to receive a decision.
On the other hand, Premium Processing Type offers a guaranteed decision on your application within a specific time frame—typically 15 days or 45 days, depending on the category, by paying an additional fee.
You can add additional Processing Types.
- From the Immigration menu, choose Processing Type.
- On the Processing Type page, you can view the already created Processing Types, along with their Name, Last Modified Date, and available Action.
- Click the edit icon under Action to easily modify the Processing Type Name, or use the delete icon to remove the Processing Type.
- To add a new Processing Type, click the Add button.
- Enter the Processing Type Name and click Save.
Advertisement Type
The Advertisement Type section refers to the platforms used for advertising position vacancy details and other information.
- From the Immigration menu, choose Advertisement Type.
- On the Advertisement Type page, some default advertising sources are previously loaded, like Newspaper, Monster, LinkedIn, and Dice. Utilize the search box to find a particular Advertisement Type.
- To edit an Advertisement Type, click the edit icon, and to remove it, click the delete icon under the Action field.
- To add a new advertisement type, click the Add button and enter the Name, then click Save.
Green Card Classification
Green Card Classification refers to the various categories for Green Cards, depending on how you qualify for permanent residency in the United States. These categories include Family-Based Green Cards, Employment-Based Green Cards, Humanitarian Green Cards, Diversity Visa Lottery Green Cards, and so on.
- Select Green Card Classification from the Immigration menu.
- You can add a new green card classification by clicking the Add button, entering the document Name, and then clicking Save.
- This new green card classification will be displayed on the Green Card Classification page, along with its Name, Last Modified Date, and available Action.
- You can use the search box to find a specific Green Card Classification.
- Edit the Green Card Classification Name by clicking the edit icon, or remove it by clicking the delete icon under Action.
